The present baptismal font was made of alabaster in 1648; it consists of an octagonal basin with rounded sides and underbowl, decorated with protruding putto heads on four alternate sides, the other four sides decorated with fruit and foliage; octagonal pedestal base with four constructional putti in atlante position at 90-degree angles; on the alternate sides are a medallion containing a painted portrait [the donnor?], and a sields with a coat of arms or emblem; the lower base is also octagonal, decorated with graded moulding. As with may northern fonts of the period, the font has a baptismal dish in lieu of cover.
