There are three entries for Panxworth [variant spelling] in the Domesday survey [http://domesdaymap.co.uk/place/TG3413/panxworth/] [accessed 28 April 2014], one of which reports a church and churchlands in it. Blomefield (1805-1810) writes: "P[anxford] [...] There belonged to it a church, endowed with 8 acres [...] The church is a rectory, dedicated to All-Saints [...] Of the original of this church, see in Randworth; it is consolidated with the vicarage of Randworth, and the church is dilapidated." White's Directory of 1845 notes: "The Church (All Saints,) has long been dilapidated, and nothing now remains but the tower, standing in an arable field." Wilson's Gazetteer (1870-1872) has: "There was no church for upwards of 200 years. A ruined tower occupied the spot where the church stood; and, in 1847, this was repaired, and a neat nave added, so as to afford 120 sittings." [cf. also Index entries for Pancford and Dilham]
