Baptismal font of stone consisting of a roughly hemispherical basin with a very broad roll moulding atop, raised on a round-to-square pedestal base; a very crude work. No cover present. [NB: neither church nor font are listed in the Enciclopedia del románico [www.romanicodigital.com], which does list the disappeared Iglesia de Nuestra Señora del Temple]. Another stone object in this church, locally believed to be the lower fragment of a stoup or font from the old medieval parish church of Santiago; it is roughly round wider at the bottom than at the top. [NB: we have not been able to ascertain whether it has a drain or not; if it did it would be more likely to be accepted as a font; if it did not it could be better seen as a mortar or grain measure].
