The present baptismal font is made of stone and consists of an octagonal basin with a rounded underbowl decorated with broad ribbed pattern, raised on a round baluster-type pedestal base decorated with foliage, and a triangular [three arms] lower base decorated with foliage on its upper surface. Tall wooden rim-buffet type octagonal font cover of four volumes of decreasing height and width; the lower volume has carved panels with scrollwork, with round columns at the angles; the second volume is somewhat similar but the angle columns are polygonals and have flat human figures on the sides; the third volume varies again somewhat by having scrolled buttressed angles; the top volume has short turned columsn supporting a low dome with a Latin cross finial. There are Latin inscriptions painted around the upper part of (at least) the two lower volumes. Dubuis and Lugon (1989) inform that the rim-buffet cover was comissioned by Jean Lergien, priest, in 1621.
