The baptismal font listed in Palissy [ref.: PM14000751] and described as: "fonts octagonaux [...] pierre [...] 15e siècle", does not match the one in the accompanying photograph in Mémoire [ref.: AP14W01361], which shows a much later font [16th? / 17th-century?] consisting of a round basin decorated with cherub heads, mouldings, etc, on a round pedestal baluster base with four detached legs, on a small square lower base and a larger square plinth. The cover is a wooden dome with panels all around, and a cross finial. A 7 January 2014 article 'Les fonts baptismaux de Saint-Pierre' in Ouest-France [https://www.ouest-france.fr/normandie/deauville-14800/les-fonts-baptismaux-de-saint-pierre-1839012] [accessed 16 October 2023] is subtitled "12e rendez-vous de notre série sur le patrimoine religieux avec l'église Saint-Pierre du Theil-en-Auge" notes: "De cette église [...] on retiendra toutefois de rares fonts baptismaux du XIVe siècle. De coupe octogonale, leur couvercle est sculpté et décoré d'une guirlande de feuillage. Ils sont classés à l'inventaire des Monuments historiques depuis 1991." [NB: like the Palissy entry, the description does not match the present font].
