Listed in Mérimée [ref.: PA00111747]: "Eglise paroissiale placée sous le vocable de saint Martin et sous le patronage de l'abbaye de Grestain (27) ; édifiée dans le 4e quart du 12e siècle : colonnettes et chapiteaux témoignent d'un projet de voûtes d'ogives sur la nef peut-être jamais réalisé ; 2e moitié 13e siècle construction du clocher : parties hautes restées inachevées ; 13e ou 14e siècle adjonction des bas-côtés ; 1ère moitié 18e siècle reconstruction partielle des murs gouttereaux et de la façade ouest (portail ancien conservé à l'exception de l'arc de couvrement) , édification de la sacristie, chapiteaux du choeur retaillés peut-être à cette époque"

Limestone baptismal font consisting of a round basin on a square base; decoration includes cherubs, acanthus leaves, palmettes, shells, etc.; the original round inner basin is lined, the zinc lining forming a double basin. Damaged and repaired with cement. Wooden cover of oak. Listed in Palissy [ref.: PM14000753]: "fonts baptismaux [...] Pied à base carrée en plan, cuve circulaire ; 2 blocs de calcaire : pied et cuve ; double bassin en zinc dans la cuve, couvercle en chêne [...] figure (angelot, coquilles) ; ornementation (volute, palmettes, feuille d'acanthe) [...] oeuvre restaurée ; partie remplacée [...] Cuve cassée et recollée au ciment gris ; cuve unique redivisée en deux par un bassin en zinc [...] 17e siècle".
