Church Notes: church originally 12thC.
Stone monolithic tub-shaped baptismal font of very crude workmanship, probably made of local trachyte; the large basin is roughly round, but very irregular, and has a number of figures and symbols scattered around the sides (fleur-de-lis, Latin cross, human figure holding scales, human figure stabbing another with a cross, etc.); parallel moulding at the upper end with large flat pads at opposite ends. Dome-shaped cover with Latin cross and IHS anagram repeated on the panels.
