The stone baptismal font here, said to be made of trachyte (volcanic stone), appears monolithic and octagonal; the upper volume, corresponding to the basin, has human faces in profile inscribed in circles; some of the sides are hidden, as the font is built against a corner of the wall; the volume corrresponding to the base is plain. There is a rim-buffet wooden cover on the font; it appears octagonal, three of the wooden sides, which are carved with window tracery, hinged for access to the interior; again, part of it is against the corner and therefore hidden from view; above this is a pyramidal [octagonal?] canopy decorated with carvings matching those on the basin sides, but the frames here are of rhomboid shape; fleuron finial. Listed in Palissy [ref.: PM15000142], with illustration in Mémoire [ref.: AP15W00193]: "fonts baptismaux [...] Trachyte clair. fonts baptismaux construits sur plan octogonal. Parois de la cuve surmontées aux cinq côtés d'un habitacle recouvert par une pyramide octogonale. L'ouverture occupe trois côtés. portes en bois épousant chacune un côté et demi. [...] limite 15e siècle 16e siècle [...] oeuvre restaurée [...] Restauration de la porte des fonts baptismaux en 1988."
