Church Notes: original church of the 12thC. Listed in Mérimée [ref.: PA00115499]: "Eglise en pierre dont le transept antérieur date du 12e siècle, le clocher et la nef du 13e, le transept postérieur et le choeur du 15e, début 16e siècle. Le portail latéral sud fut construit postérieurement. L'église possède encore des vitraux historiés contemporains de l'abside et du choeur. L'église a subit de gros dommages lors de la guerre 1914-1918."
The present font in this church is made of painted wood to ressdemble marble; quadrangular basin with cartouche panels on the rounded sides. Moulded and carved wooden cover with dove finial; in the same style as the font. Listed in Palissy [ref.: PM02000008] with date in the 18th century. [NB: we have no information on the font of the original 12th-century church here].
