Font Notes:
Baptismal font made of a blue-grey limestone probably from Tournai or surrounding area; it consists of a round basin with human heads (male, bearded and wearing hat or crown) at 90-degree angles, plain rounded underbowl; raised on a plain and broad cylindrical pedestal base, and a round-to-square lower base with a large leaf motif at each angle. The wooden cover, flat and shaped like the outline of the basin top, is modern. Listed in Palissy [ref.: PM02000204]: "fonts baptismaux [...] En pierre bleue de Belgique [...] 11e siècle".
