Church Notes: church originally of the 12thC -- Listed in Mérimée [ref.: PA00115773]: "Eglise en forme de croix latine, édifiée dans la seconde moitié du 12e siècle et achevée au début du 13e. Au 16e siècle, adjonction d'un porche ; reconstruction des bas-côtés, du bras nord du transept et de la voûte de la nef. Le choeur, le transept et une partie du bas-côté sud sont voûtés d'ogives. La nef, les bas-côtés et le porche sont couverts d'un lambris. Edification de la sacristie au 17e siècle."

Stone baptismal font consisting of plain square basin with a rounded underbowl, raised on a torsade round pedestal; the lower base has several lions (?) passant head-to-tail to the left on a moulding or platform, with very large leaves below; this lower part of the base, below the lion platform, is mostly buried in the flooring now. The wooden cover is square, fitted to the rim of the basin. Listed and illustrated in Palissy [ref.: PM02000668] and Mémoire [ref.: MHR22_07025476 and MHR22_07025477] with date in the 15th century. [NB: we have no information on the original font of the 12th-century church here].
