Church Notes: 12thC church; re-built in mid-17thC -- listed in Mérimée [ref.: PA00103891]: " Eglise antérieure à 1153, présentant une nef unique de trois travées voûtées en berceau légèrement brisé. Les arcs doubleaux sont soutenus par deux demi-colonnes romanes. De grandes arcades en saillie ornent les murs. Sur le mur nord de la nef, à une période récente, a été ouverte une chapelle. Une travée de choeur précède l'abside légèrement en retrait, à cinq pans, dont la partie supérieure en plein cintre est décorée d'arcades en plein cintre portées par des colonnettes romanes. Elle est voûtée en cul de four et reçoit le jour par deux bais trilobées. Extérieurement, cinq arcs en plein cintre marquent la partie haute des pans devant l'abside. Ces arcs sont reçus par des colonnettes d'angles aux chapiteaux historiés. Au sud, un portail à voussures s'ouvre dans un contrefort, sur la travée médiane. Le mur de façade attenant au presbytère porte un clocher-mur à deux baies qui semble être le clocher primitif."

Stone baptismal font consisting of an oblong basin with rounded angles, the base being an irregular rectangle; there is a large Maltese cross on one of the narrow sides of the basin, and an arcade of blind round arches on the wider side; below the upper rim is a saw-tooth pattern. The font is irregular and the rendering crude, so the apparent antiquity of the piece should be carefully considered, so as not to attribute undue age to crude workmanship. The font is monolithic, of light-coloured limestone.
