Stone baptismal font consisting of a square basin with a rounded underbowl, raised on a short round pedestal and a round-to-square lower base; the basin has a thin moulding below the upper rim; the sides and angles of the underbowl are decorated with large leaves; the lower base consists of thin roll moulding followed down by a broad one that indorporates some sort of motif at 90-dregree angles (spur? leaf? claw?); the bottom volume is square. The wooden cover is round and flat, and has a metal strap that anchors the cover to the upper rim of the basin. Though dated in one source to the 12th century [cf. infra] it is probably of a later date. Listed in Palissy [ref.: PM02000891]: "Cuve carrée à fond hémisphérique reposant sur un fût monocylindrique dont la base s'aplatit sur un socle carré [...] 12e siècle".
