Church Notes: church originally a 12thC priory -- listed in Mérimée [ref.: PA00082782]: "Eglise d'origine romane, formée d'un rectangle allongé.
Font Notes:
Monolithic baptismal font made of limestone; octagonal shape with a round inner well; decorated with an arcade of blind intersecting round arches; it is now cemented to the wall and the ground, and has some repairs done also in cement. The entry in Palissy [ref.: PM24000303] suggests it may have been made from a mill stone: "Cuve de plan octogonal à l'extérieur, circulaire à l'intérieur, taillée dans un bloc monolithe (ancienne meule ?) ; fixée au sol et au mur [...] Arcades en plein cintre, aveugles et entrecroisées. [...] Ancienne meule (?)
