Baptismal font of a monolithic octagonal design, each side decorated with a round arch decorated with foliage motif, resting on plain columns without defined capitals or bases; the spandrels of the arcade are also decorated with a simple foliated motif; the inner well of the font is also octagonal; the font is damaged and repaired with cement; it is somewhat irregular, not a fine piece but rather the work of a local mason with some skill; the sides of the vessel taper slightly in towards the bottom. The font rests directly on the ground and there is no font cover present. The font has the general look of a medieval monolithic work but, as the edited entry in Palissy [cf. infra] points out, it is a late work, no earlier than the 16th century [NB: the other possibility is of course that it was a plain early font re-carved at a later date]. Listed in Palissy [ref.: PM24000369]: " fonts baptismaux [...] Calcaire ocre [...] octogonal [...] Décor sculpté en réserve sur chaque face : arcade à motifs feuillages, reposant sur 2 colonnes sans base, à astragale torique, avec fleurons dans les écoinçons [...] 3 faces très érodées ; reprises au ciment sur la base et sur le bord de la cuve. [...] 12e siècle (?)". To this 1908 listing a revised comment was added later [1993?]: "Fonts baptismaux du 12e siècle d'après l'arrêté de protection, mais sans doute beaucoup plus tardifs (il pourraient ne dater que du 16e siècle)".
