Cylindrical basin with carbed sides, the carving on two registers; the upper register contains a series of triangular niches forming an arcade; each niche or arch contains a single motif somewhat resembling a flower, plant or tree; there is some reddish paint on the upper side; the lower register on the basin sides has a row of rhomboid shapes above a zigzag pattern; on one side it is interrupted by a Greek cross that appears to have foliated arms; traces on colour on several spots here as well. Listed in Palissy [ref.: PM24000379]: "fonts baptismaux (cuve baptismale à immersion) [...] pierre : taillé [...] 12e siècle [...] Seule la cuve est d'origine". Salignac-Eyvigues has resulted from the merge of three communes: Eybènes with Eyvigues in 1827, as Eyvignes-et-Eybènes; then, in 1965 they merged with Salignac.
