Font Notes:
The late 18th-century font in the modern church of Barsac is listed in Palissy [ref.: PM33000046] as a 1788 marble baptismal font made by the sculptor Queva. That font and the modern red-marble holy-water stoups are reported by André Cochet [www.vallee-du-ciron.com/Barsac/BarsEglise/BarsEglise.htm] [accessed 31 December 2013] as being located in a chapel at west end of the nave, south side: "Chapelle Sainte-Barbe [...] avec des fonds [sic] baptismaux de marbre blanc de Gueva [sic] (1788), ainsi que les bénitiers en marbre rouge." [NB: we have no information on the font of the original church here].
