The relationship of Frontenac with the chapel of the Knights Templar commandery of Sallebruneau makes it difficult to ascertain whether each of the religious buildings had its own font, as it appears; to make matters more confusing, the font originally from the chapel at Sallebruneau was moved into Fontenac's Sainte-Présentine in 1936, but returned to the former in 2008 [cf. Index entry for Sallebruneau No. 1]. If Sallebruneau's chapel had an 'of ease' relationship with Frontenac, it might well have had its own font. The parish church of Frontenac is the 16th-century church of Notre-Dame [cf. Index entry for Frontenac No. 2]
