Church Notes: listed in Mérimée [ref.: PA01000029]: "L'église est citée au 13e siècle comme appartenant à l'archiprêtré de Treffort. Le plan en croix latine présente une nef prolongée par une entrée surmontée d'un clocher ajouté en 1865 par l'architecte Despierre. L'intérieur de la nef et son couvrement ont été refaits à la même époque. Au 14e ou 15e siècle, ajout de deux chapelles seigneuriales dont celle du nord qui conserve un décor peint (animal ailé, litre funéraire, damier ocre et blanc). L'abside conserve également des peintures murales du début du 15e siècle représentant de grandes scènes du Nouveau Testament (Jugement dernier ; apôtres et donateur ; châtiment des vices)." Listed in Palissy [ref.: PM01000312]: "De forme octogonale, sur pied circulaire, ces fonts baptismaux portent sur deux faces de la cuve une inscription. Les autres faces sont ornées de fenestrages. [...] Inscription gravée en caractères gothiques. [...] 15e siècle".
