The present font in this church consists of a shallow round basin raised on a round baluster pedestal base; low dome cover with round finial/handle; modern. Noted and illustrated in Visites Aquitaine [http://visites.aquitaine.fr/eglise-saint-jean-baptiste-14062] [accessed 23 December 2013]: "Les fonts baptismaux de l’église Saint-Jean-Baptiste de Doudrac sont parmi les plus beaux conservés dans le département. Il s’agit d’une cuve, placé sur un socle et recouverte d’un couvercle." [NB: we have no information on the font of the Romanesque church here].
