Baptismal font consisting of a roughly oval basin with plain tapering sides, raised on a quadrangular pedestal base with chamfered angles. The wooden cover is an irregular octagonal pyramid on an oval platform at the bottom, trefoiled cross finial; modern. Noted and illustrated in Visites Aquitaine [http://visites.aquitaine.fr/fonts-baptismaux-de-l-eglise-saint-jean-baptiste-11516]: "fonts baptismaux massifs et très sobres. Ils sont constitués d’un pied carré et d’une simple cuve circulaire. En marbre, ils sont de facture robuste, mais modeste et ne possèdent aucun élément ornemental [...] sont désormais fermés par un couvercle polygonal en bois surmonté d’une croix".
