Church Notes: The church is noted in Visites Aquitaine [http://visites.aquitaine.fr/eglise-saint-etienne-23501] [accessed 21 December 2013] as Romanesque, 12th or 13thC; belfry collapsed killing the two ringers in 1822; restored in 1875.
Baptismal font consisting of a crude octagonal basin with plain sides and chamfered underbowl raised on a splaying octagonal base that could be an upturned basin itself. The font, with suggested date in the 17th century, and an undated stoup are noted and illustrated in Visites Aquitaine [http://visites.aquitaine.fr/fonts-baptismaux-de-l-eglise-saint-etienne] [accessed 21 December 2013]: "L’intérieur de l’église abrite des fonts baptismaux de forme octogonale et un bénitier [...] fonts baptismaux en pierre, datant probablement du XVIIe siècle".
