The present font in this church is modern, of the 18th century; it consists of a shallow rounded basin raised on a slender pedestal base and a round-to-square lower base, all in blue-black marble. Low-dome metal (brass?) cover with cross finial. Noted and illustrated in Visites Aquitaine [http://visites.aquitaine.fr/fonts-baptismaux-de-l-eglise-saint-aubin] [accessed 8 December 2013]: “Isolés par une grille, les fonts baptismaux de l’église Saint-Aubin comportent une superbe cuve en marbre du XVIIIe siècle. Arrondie et fermée, elle repose sur un pied." [NB: we have no information on the font from the 12th-century church here].
