Noted and illustrated in the CDC Seuil Charente-Périgord [www.patrimoine-cdc-scp.fr/rouzede/eglise-notre-dame/] [accessed 7 December 2013] as a baptismal font of the 13th century. The large basin appears roughly hemispherical, decorated with a flat moulding at the upper rim, with a row of beaded motif below followed down by a vine of oak leaves and acorns, while the underbowl is decorated with a pattern of convex ribs all arouund.
