Baptismal font of the doubl-font type, with two basins: the main one, a round Corinthian capital which holds the holy water, and an auxiliary basin with drainage above which the baptizand is placed to receive the waters; raised on four slender pillars with capitals and bases. Matching font cover with trefoiled cross finial. Noted and illustrated in Visites Aquitaine [http://http://visites.aquitaine.fr/fonts-baptismaux-de-l-eglise-de-saint-laurent-des] [accessed 2 December 2013]: "Orné de manière remarquable, ils sont soutenus par un pilier formé de quatre colonnes et couvert par des chapiteaux de style corinthien. L’ensemble est composé de deux cuves. L’une est destinée à contenir l’eau bénite et l’autre, percée d’un trou, sert à évacuer l’eau utilisée au cours des baptêmes. Une croix tréflée orne l’ensemble. De grandes feuilles d’Acanthe, caractéristiques des chapiteaux de l’ordre corinthien, ornent la cuve principale."
