The present font consists of an octagonal basin raised on a octagonal-to-square pedestal base and a tall round plinth; it appears to have been re-cut. Metal font cover, low octagonal pyramid with Baptism of Christ finial; inscriptions on the upper surface; side latch locks onto the basin side anchor.
