Wall-mounted holy-water stoup; the rectangular basin is decorated with a flat moulding around the upper rim; on the sides are Maltese crosses and six-petalled flowers, both encircled, as well a date brokwn into two groups and partially buried in the wall [17 33] [NB: the stoup appears of a much earlier date -- was this date added at a later date?]. Noted and illustrated in the parish site [whttp://www.saint-vincent-baises.com/cardesse.php] [accessed 1 December 2013]: "Le Bénitier. This stoup is somewhat similar to the one at the nearby church of Sainte-Agathe in Lahourcade, although the former is mounted on a pedestal base and the decoration is simpler; the 1733 date on this stoup is disconcerting.
