A Palissy entry for this contents of this church in Palissy [ref.: IM40002588] refers to a pre-Revolution inventory of 1751 in which a baptismal font and two holy-water stoups are recorded: "Un procès-verbal de visite de l'évêque Sarret de Gaujac en novembre 1751 donne quelques renseignements sur le mobilier de l'église avant la Révolution. [...] fonts baptismaux ; bénitiers (2)" [...] Le mobilier fut entièrement renouvelé dans la seconde moitié du 19e siècle, à l'exception du vieux tableau du maître-autel, qui était apparemment encore en place en 1906". From the text above it appears the the font and the stoups nay have been replaced in the second hald of the 19th century. The original church itself, according to Mérimée [ref.: IA40001470], was erected in 1280 but nothing of that date remains, with the nave, choir and north chapel dating to the late-15th century, and the rest to later renovations in the 19th century. [NB: we presume the old font and stoups have disappeared].
