There are two entries in the Domesday survey for North Runcton [http://domesdaymap.co.uk/place/TF6415/north-runcton/] [accessed 25 November 2013] [variant spellings]; the part that passed from Turchetel [aka...] to Hermerus Ferrariis [aka...] after the Conquest, included a church in it. Blomefiled (1805-1810) writes about the "Church of North Rungton" in his entry for Sechey Magna and Hardwick: "The Church of North Rungton, is dedicated to All-Saints, [...] in 1701, August 15, the old church was destroyed by the fall of the tower upon it, and about 1710, rebuilt". [NB: we have no information on the font from the original church here -- this church received a modern font from King's Lynn -- cf. Index entry for King's Lynn No. 4]
