The present font is noted and illustrated in Visites Aquitaine [http://visites.aquitaine.fr/fonts-baptismaux-10814] [accessed 24 November 2013]: "Dans une petite chapelle latérale, une grande cuve creusée dans une pierre monolithe repose sur un socle circulaire. Le pied, peut-être un morceau de colonne, semble disproportionné par rapport au récipient." [NB: it is not clear whether this the early font of this church, as it appears that it may be a composite object of an old basin and a re-used piece of column].
