Baptismal font of coarse granite, consisting of a basin that is round at the upper rim but appears polygonal below, though it may be the effect of the large diagonal rib-like decoration on the sides; raised on a ribbed pedestal base with very irregular decoration; it has a wooden lock inserted in the upper side, as in many of the fonts of this area. The wooden cover is present, round and flat, hinged in its middle. The font is a crude work probably the product of a local mason working in several churches/chapels of the area (Idães, Unhão, etc.), using a local granite of coarse grain.
