Baptismal font of coarse granite, consisting of an octagonal basin with rounded torsade sides decorated with geometrical mouldings; raised on a squat torsade base with piping going in the opposite direction; it has a metal lock inserted in the upper side, as in many of the fonts of this area; cover not present. The font is a crude work and may be from the time in which the chapel was constructed, estimated to be the 17th century, or it could be earlier, from a nearby church or chapel. The font was probably the product of a local mason working in several churches/chapels of the area (Idães, Unhão, etc.), using a local granite of coarse grain.
