Baptismal font now at the Märkisches Museum of Berlin; it consists of an octagonal basin of tapering sides with a round upper rim; an inscription runs around the basin upper side, and there is another on the tapering sides, both in German; the upper inscription appears to be a version of Matthew 19:14: ["Lasset die Kindlein zu mir kommen und wehret ihnen nicht, denn solcher ist das Reich Gottes" = "Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven"]; the inscription on the tapering sides appears to be a version of Mark 16:16 ["Wer da glaubet und getauft wird, der wird selig werden; wer aber nicht glaubt, der wird verdammt werden" = "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned."]; one of the basin sides has an emblem inscribed in a round scroll cartouche; the base is octagonal, of the baluster type, moulded, and the lower base is also octagonal with graded moulding.
