Noted and illustrated in Lampe & Willing (2012), who report two inscriptions on it [cf. InscriptionArea]. The font is from the original church that was demolished in 1974; it consists of an hexagonal basin decorated with mouldings and pseudo-castellation pattern; the base is in two volumes separated by a roll moulding; the longer inscription, a German version of Mark 10:14 ["Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God."], is carved on the upper volume; the shorter, giving the gospel source, on the lower, which is also decorated with roll mouldings.
