The font here is noted with a date ca. 1650-1659 in Bähren-Aye (2005) and the inscription "M. JÜRGEN BOSTT", which the author suggests it be a vicar or warden [="(Pfarrer oder Kirchenjurat)"]; Bähren-Aye mentions angel heads below the underbowl, and lion heads on lower base. Lampe & Willing (2012) note and illustrate a baptismal font made of reddish sandstone, which they date to the 17th century; it consists of a hexagonal basin with rounded underbowl, garlands with fruit and foliage decorating thesides, heads on the base and a carved inscription on the upper surface of the rim, which they expand to "M(EISTER) - IÜRGEN / BOSTT"
