Listed and illustrated as a 'bénitier' in TopicTopos [http://fr.topic-topos.com/benitier-landebia] [accessed 28 October 2013], but more likely a baptismal font of the 'double-font' type; the upper part appears monolithic, with two large basins joined at the plain sides; raised on two detached round shafts decorated with a roll-moulding at each end; the lower base appears monolithic as well, rounded and joined, with a tongue or leaf motif at the joint; on a plain rectangular pedestal that appears to be part of the lower base block. There is no cover present but there are some damage and repairs visible likely to be related to cover hardware on the rim of the basin(s).
