Church Notes: church by Friedrich August Stüler; consecrated in 1852
Baptismal font by Friedrich August Stüler (Schüler Schinkels / Schinkel School) of ca. 1852; it is made of wood and consists of two volumes, both octagonal with vertical sides, the pedestal a few inches more slender than the basin; the basin volume supports a ceramic (?) baptismal dish insert decorated with a round frieze of angels and children. It is a very classic elegant design harking back at earlier models of the late medieval period.
