The present church has a wall-mounted stoup that resembles the basin of an old baptismal font, and may have originally been one; it is a fragment of an octagonal besin decorated on the sides with large floral motifs, and rosettes on the underbowl; the sides of the basin were originally framed in mouldings, but much of the top has been broken off; there appears to be a patterned moulding at the bottom of the underbowl, but it is much damaged. The present font is a tall and narrow polygonal tub of modern appearance; raised on a short polygonal base and a round plinth; the plinth itself may be medieval. A conical metal cover is on theis font; also modern. [NB: we have no information on the font(s) of the earlier church here]. There are remains of an early church here dedicated to St. John [ancienne chapelle Saint-Jean-Baptiste].
