The old church here was destroyed by a fire; a new church was build on its site in 1845. [NB: we have no information on the font of the original church here]. The present font is modern, a square basin with chamfered angles, raised on a pedestal base of similar shape and moulded lower base; made of multi-coloured marble and totally unremarkable.
