A stoup here is noted in Collard (1965) among a list of mortars used as holy-water stoups. Besides the stoup bearing an inscription and entered as 'Corbigny No. 1' in this Index, Palissy [ref.: PM58000158] lists a second cast-iron holy-water stoup in this church: "bénitier [...] fonte de fer [...] Objet placé sur un socle cylindrique [...] 16e siècle". NB: here is a discrepancy in the measurements given by the two sources here; are they for the same stoup? Collard's do not seem to match those of either of the stoups listed in Palissy.
