The holy-water stoup here is listed in Palissy [ref.: PM58000397]: "Bénitier en forme de mortier [...] fonte de fer [...] 16e siècle". The Val du Sauzay web site [http://valdusauzay.fr/oudan3.htm] [accessed 18 August 2013] notes: "Le bénitier de l'église provient vraisemblablement de l'usine de Corbelin. La nef de la Chapelle et les fon[t]s baptismaux sont séparés par une grille en fer forgé provenant également des forges de Corbelin ou de la Chapelle." Equally, Palissy [ref.: PM58000398] lists the 18th-century iron enclosure of the font [="Grille [...] clôture des fonts baptismaux [...] 18e siècle"], but not the font itself.
