Font Notes:
Baptismal font consisting of two blocks from different periods; the basin, probably 13th-century, is roughly hemispherical in shape and has a band of 3-strand interlace carved all around under the rim moulding; traces of red paint on the rim and one metal staple from the old cover still in it; the sides of the basin have a ribbed pattern all the way round the underbowl; the underbowl ends in a thick ring moulding, flat. The base, a moulded octagonal-to-square pedestal, is of a much later date, probably 16th- or 17th-century.
