Listed in Palissy [ref.: IM22001559]: "Fonts baptismaux exécutés au 16e siècle portant les armes de la famille de Quelen seigneur de Kerhos et sans doute Preeminencier de la trêve de Kerhos. [...] Brisée en plusieurs endroits (en particulier le fût en deux endroits) ; les recollages sont très voyants [...] granite [...] oeuvre restaurée". Illustrated in the Service Régional de l'Inventaire de Bretagne [ref.: 77 22 00737 X]. Noted in Info Bretagne [www.infobretagne.com/kerbors.htm] [accessed 28 July 2013]: "Les fonts baptismaux datent du XVIème siècle et sa cuve porte les armes des Quélen." The baptismal font in this mid-19th century is from the earlier church here and dates from the 16th century; it is of the double-font type, consisting of a main roughly hemisperical basin decorated with the said heraldic device [cf. supra] and a band of crenellation around the underbowl; raised on a round-to-square pedestal base decorated with mouldings; the tiny secondary basin is round and very shallow, raised on a moulded round pedestal base. The wooden cover on the main vasin is round, flat and plain.
