Church Notes: church listed in Mérimée [ref.: PA00082587]: "Eglise du début du 12e siècle dont les dispositions du plan la rattacheraient plutôt aux traditions de l'Angonnais qu'à celles du Périgord. Elle se compose d'une nef et d'un transept, la croisée supportant le clocher étant couverte d'une coupole polygonale. La nef se termine par une abside demi-circulaire voûtée en cul de four. Deux absidioles s'ouvrent également sur les deux bras du transept. Ces absidioles aussi bien que l'abside principale, sont précédées de travées droites formant avant-choeur et communiquant entre elles par des passages en plein cintre."

There are two vessels in the area of the church used as baptistery: 1)a square object that may be a baptismal font; 2)an object consisting of a roughly hemispherical basin raised on a round pedestal base, used as holy-water stoup. The components of the stoup may be medieval or late-medieval, but the font, if that is what it is, would not.
