Church Notes: church listed in Mérimée [ref.: PA00083001]: "Eglise du 12e siècle à chevet carré. Selon la tradition, sa fondation serait l'oeuvre des Templiers [...] Le chevet a été renforcé peut-être au 15e siècle [...] La nef peut avoir été bâtie au 15e siècle. Le portail a été complètement défiguré. Au 14e siècle, le clocher fut fortifié par des mâchicoulis [...] Au 17e siècle, la nef, ruinée pendant les guerres de Religion, a été restaurée."
The baptismal font in this church consists of a roughly hemispherical basin decorated with roll mouldings down the sides; at 120 degrees on the upper sides are three heads: one has long hair and appears female; it has a latin cross crved on top of her head [no visual information on the other two heads]. The basin is raised on a modern pedestal base.
