Baptismal font consisting of a roughly hemispherical basin decorated with two partial scotias at the front and an incised groove that appears to go all around; the two partial scotias are painted a light green and there are traces of darker green paint on other parts of the outer basin sides; raised on a plain cylindrical pedestal base and a quadrangular lower base or plinth that is partially buried into the flooring. The font has been partially embeded into the wall, but looks like it once stood on its own (or was designed to). The wooden cover, round, flat and plain, appears to be hinged to the sides of the wall into which the font is built; the front of the basin has a large section cut off to accommodate a large metal locking pad to which presumably the cover attaches via a hasp.
