Holy-water stoup made of granite; it consists of a basin that is octagonal inside and out with plain vertical sides, a chamfered underbowl a a single moulding below; it is raised on an elaborate square pedestal base with three sides carved (S, E, N) and one uncarved (W); the S and E have a foliated motif on the upper half with a rosette in the centre; the lower ends appear to end in snake heads; on the S side the lower half has a geometric pattern of linked elements; the E side has a vertical cartouche with triangular handles on the narrow sides; the W side has two bulges that may have been human heads, now damaged; the lower part has another geometric pattern; the top and bottom of the pedestal have graded mouldings on the three carved sides. It is quite possible that the two parts were never intended together; the octagonal basin does not match the square base. The basin has a large hole, now plugged, on the east side, which may suggest it was used at some point as a trough. It is unlined and has no drain except for the side hole mentioned above.
