Baptismal font consisting of a main octagonal basin mounted on an octagonal pedestal base, and a smaller secondary basin, also octagonal and mounted on an octagonal pedestal base; the two basins appear to be part of the same block of granite; the pedestals of the base and the splying lower bases are also granite; the main basin has a round interior of two levels, and the inner sides have been notched at opposite ends; on the other two opposing sides are large metal staples from an old cover; there is no drain hole in the main basin, as per usual; black paint appears to have been used to highlight the contours of the basin panels. The smaller secondary basin is octagonal both in side and out, and has a drain hole; there are no cover staples in its upper rim. No cover was present at the time of our visit. [cf. Index entry for Plehedel No. 2 for a holy-water stoup in the south porch of this church]. There are several rural chapels in this area, as noted in Info Bretagne: "la chapelle Saint-Samson du Roscoat (XVème siècle).
