The present font in this church is a late work; it consists of an octagonal basin profusely carved and painted with foliated motifs, mouldings and gilding all over; the base is roughly square and formed by an arcade of round arches that house a painted niche in each; the niches were probably intended to house a statue in them but none are present now; the arcade and the rest of the base are, like the basin, profusely decorated. The low-dome cover is decorated in the same style, and has a finial consisting of two painted statues forming the Baptism of Christ scene. The font is located in an alcover protected by a railing. [NB: we have no information on the font of the original 13th-century church here].
