The second object in this church consists of a tub-shaped basin with a large protruding round moulding at the upper rim, and a thinner roll moulding at the bottom of the underbowl; there is a small rectangular protrusion on one side of the upper rim, which may have been intended to serve as the place for the anchoring of the font cover hardware; the basin is raised on two cylindric blocks, the upper one of which appears to have remains of reddish paint on it; the lower base is round-to-square, with graded mouldings on the upper part. [NB: it is quite possible that this is composite object made of of unrelated parts; the shape of the basin indicates a late style, 16th-century or later, and needs to be examined for carving pattern inside the well and the presence of a drain in it; the other three parts do not necessarily belong together]. [cf. Index entry for Preysac No. 1 for the other font (?) listed in this church].
